The following projects are all at different stages of development. Upon commissioning, they will all have an estimated installed capacity of 136MW to Kenyas national grid. Our experienced teams who have worked on different power related projects within the Republic of Kenya will develop these projects in collaboration with like-minded international partners and developers.

Afrigen Energy Ltd engages like-minded co-developers with experience in design, financing, supply, construction, maintenance and operation of RE power plants and traditional fossil fuel power plants. Afrigen Energy Ltd is desirous to implement each project within the Independent Power Producer (IP.P.) framework, Republic of Kenya.
The power to be generated from these power plants will be sold to Kenya Power and Lighting Company Limited (K.P.L.C.)- The National Grid Company, under a contractual arrangement on a 20 years Power Purchase Agreement (P.P.A.) with terms to be negotiated with the off-taker.
All development of power generation and power infrastructure assets is based on a B.O.O.T. (Build, Own, Operate and Transfer) or B.O.O. (Build, Operate and Own) whereby the transfer of assets would be done after full amortization of the capital investment framework. Afrigen Energy Ltd ensures that all authorizations are properly sought from the requisite Energy Ministries including proper licensing by all statutory and licensing bodies as is required by the respective country regulations and law.
